With over Fifteen years of experience in the field, Dr. Adil Hasan specialises in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of conditions affecting the anterior segment of the eye, with a strong focus on delivering safe, positive patient outcomes.
Dr. Adil Hasan is recognised for his proficiency in advanced cataract surgical techniques, notably Phacoemulsification and Micro Incision Cataract Surgery (MICS). His extensive surgical volume includes performing over 30,000 phacoemulsification procedures and currently handling approximately 100 cataract cases per week.
Furthermore, Dr. Adil Hasan has performed over 5,000 Small Incision Cataract Surgery (SICS) cases and is actively involved in training the next generation of surgeons.
Dr. Adil Hasan is an active participant at various national and international ophthalmology conferences and workshops. His commitment to continuous professional development ensures that his patients benefit from the most current and cutting-edge surgical techniques and treatment protocols in eye care. He also dedicates his time to teaching, serving as a mentor for residents, trainees, and fellowship students.
Dr. Adil Hasan's clinical excellence is built upon a strong educational foundation, including an M.B.B.S from Manipal College of Medical Sciences (MCOMS), and a Master of Surgery (M.S) in Ophthalmology from Kannur Medical College. He further honed his specialized skills by completing a highly regarded Long Term IOL Fellowship from Aravind Eye Hospital, Tirunelveli.
